What is Heaven sending YOU?

What is Heaven sending YOU?

Signs from Heaven come in all kinds of ways. Capturing our attention with synchronicities is one way that our loved ones send us messages. Synchronicity is another word for a coincidence that resonates deeply with you. Some coincidences are just interesting or fun. For example, you and your friend might happen to be reading the same book at the same time. Or maybe you wear the same outfit to a meeting as one of your co-workers. But what if the coincidence is more meaningful? What if the coincidence really matters to you? These meaningful coincidences are a way that you get messages from your loved ones in Heaven.

A woman came up to me after an event to share this story of a synchronicity she experienced. “After my husband passed away, I stayed alone for many years. I didn’t think I would ever want to date again. Then my best friend asked me to try online dating with her. I wanted to support her, so I said yes, but I really didn’t think I’d meet anyone. Plus, I felt guilty, like I was betraying my husband. I was wrestling with so many conflicting emotions, that I was ready to cancel the account when a man sent me a message. As soon as I saw his picture I was shocked. He had the same first name as my husband and wore the same style of glasses. He even looked a little bit like him. After we talked for a bit, it was clear to both of us that we were not a romantic match, but he was so friendly and kind that it gave me the courage to stay on the site. A week later I met someone wonderful, and now we are engaged.” The woman had tears in her eyes when she talked to me. “I know that my husband sent me the first guy to tell me it’s okay. I just know it in my heart.”

She is not alone. I hear stories all the time about these messages from Heaven that come as meaningful coincidences just at the right time to help us make decisions or answer questions.

Another family friend was having a difficult day, facing a tough decision about whether to sell her house or not. At the grocery store, a stranger said hello and asked her for help finding the cereal aisle. My friend was going that way, and the two of them started talking. The woman projected such a warm, nurturing energy that by the time they got to the cereal aisle, my friend felt much better and more positive. When they parted, they shook hands and the stranger gave my friend her business card. “It’s been great talking to you. I’m a realtor. Give me a call if you ever need help.” When the stranger walked away, my friend looked down at the business card in her hand. The realtor had the same name as my friend’s beloved grandmother! My friend knew that was more than a coincidence. It was a sign, and it helped her make her decision. She called the realtor the next day and got her house sold.

Remember, your loved ones are trying to reach you, and these meaningful coincidences are one way for them to do that, so be on the lookout for them. It helps to keep an open heart if you want to start noticing these synchronicities. Be ready to receive the message your loved one is trying to send you. When you meet a stranger with the same name as a loved one in Heaven, sometimes that person has a message. And sometimes that person is a message, even just a reminder that your loved one is with you, helping you.

Opening the Door to Receive Spirit Messages!

Opening the Door to Receive Spirit Messages!

It’s amazing that sometimes all you need to do to connect with someone in Spirit is invite them in. I recently had a woman who attended one of my LIVE events in Peabody ( Click Here For Event Schedule ). She came looking to hear from her Son that had passed on, she even stuffed his hat in her purse hoping he would come through and reach her with a message. The moment I walked into the room she was one of the first I read. There

was no way I could miss her son. He was literally standing behind her waving to me and asking me to come over and deliver a message

to his Mom. He said that he knew that she had brought his hat with her, but what he wanted her to know is that she didn’t need that to be able to sense and feel him or to make him come through. It’s amazing, so many people come to my events and bring articles of clothing, pictures, jewelry and one time even someones urn! It makes me laugh every time. Those you love are not attached to their material things, they are attached to YOU!

Sometimes people come to me after a show, feeling frustrated because no matter how hard they try, they have not been able to see, feel, or sense signs from their loved ones. I always give them the same advice. Your loved ones in Heaven might need a sign from YOU – so they know you’re emotionally ready for them to connect. How do you signal to them that you are open and ready? You can’t text or send them an email. No worries! There are many ways to let them know.

Here are just a few:

Say Hello.

When you want to hear from a loved one, try having a simple conversation in your mind or out loud. That will help open you up to them, and in turn, they will be able to reach out to you better. You might feel silly talking out loud by yourself – but the spirit people are tuned in to your thoughts, so it is okay to have the conversation in your mind too. It can be as simple as saying (or thinking), “I miss you.” If you have an object that reminds you of them, hold it while you talk. That will help make the connection because you will feel more like they are with you. Talk about your day or tell them about a problem you are having. Say “I need your help.” Your loved ones are listening, and they want to be there for you.

Write A Letter.

Just like a conversation, a letter is another way to reach out to your loved ones and let them know you are ready to hear from them. Write what is in your heart. Maybe you want them to help you find an answer, or maybe you just need a little reminder that they’re still with you. Don’t be afraid to ask for what you need. Write it down. A friend of mine writes letters to her mom on her computer. She types out everything she would say too if her mom were right there with her. She talks about what is going on in her life and explains in detail where she needs help. When she is done, she pushes the little x to close the window. When the box pops up that says, “Do you want to save this file?” she says, “No” because she knows her mother has already received the message just because she was typing it. You can also leave the letter in a place that is meaningful to you and your loved one. Some people even like to put a letter or note in the fire, and as the paper burns and smoke rises, they imagine the message being delivered to Heaven!

Make Something

Sometimes making something that reminds you of your loved one helps to create a space for connecting with them. It can be as simple as having an object that reminds you of them, a piece of clothing that you wear or hold. Some people make quilts out of their loved ones’ shirts. Wrapping up in a blanket like that can feel like a big hug from beyond! I heard a great idea once. A woman took a bunch of her husband’s shirts and used them to make stuffed animals for their grandchildren. She made pillows for their children. It helped her have something to do with the empty time in her life after he was gone, and whenever they were feeling sad and missing him, her family had something to hold on to.

It can be frustrating to look and wait for a sign from a loved one, and not to receive one. Remember that signs can come in many different ways. Try some of these techniques and open your heart to different possibilities. I can tell you with total confidence that your friends and family in Heaven are with your always, and they want to connect with you just as much as you do with them!

A Message in a Song

A Message in a Song

When your friends want to give you a message, they just have to email or text or pick up the phone to give you a call. When your loved ones cross over to Heaven, their messages still come through, but not always in the way you’d expect. Sometimes you have to do a little work of your own to hear the messages your loved ones are sending.

Messages from heaven can be like those 3-D pictures that used to be popular. At first glance, you see a flat image or a pattern – but when you shift your focus or cross your eyes slightly, a three-dimensional figure pops out of nowhere! The funny thing about it is if you try too hard and stare straight at the picture, the figure won’t materialize at all. Connecting to Spirit is kind of like that!

I want to tell you a story someone shared in an email recently. Her husband had passed a few years ago, and she wanted me to know that she thinks about him often and has followed some of my suggestions to let him know she is open to hearing from him. She described how she sometimes sits down and writes him a letter when she is struggling with loneliness or faced with a big decision. She makes it a point to wear one of his cardigans and sit in his favorite old easy chair while she writes. This ritual makes her feel close to him.

But recently, her son was going through a difficult time and she didn’t know what to do. She felt lost, and her letter writing wasn’t helping much at all – it still felt like her husband was very far away.

While this was going on, she became aware of a couple lines of a song stuck in her head. She couldn’t place the tune. The same words kept repeating over and over in her head, “After you’ve done all you can, after you’ve gone through the storm.” It was starting to drive her a little bit crazy because she couldn’t figure out what song these lyrics were from.

She mentioned this to a friend who showed her how to search for lyrics online. She saw the name of the song, and suddenly it hit her. She knew it had to be a message from her husband. Whenever they drove in the car, he always wanted to put on spiritual songs, and she always wanted to listen to the news. This song, “Stand,” was one of the songs her husband had loved to hear whenever she gave him the chance to choose the radio station. It is about standing and waiting for God to step in after you’ve done all you can do. She knew her husband was sending this song to help their son. It was the answer she was looking for.

She sent her son an email. “I think your dad sent you this song.” He called his mom later that day. “That was just what I needed to hear. Thank you for passing on Dad’s message.”

When our loved ones want to reach out to us, the message doesn’t always come through the way we think it will. Spirit can be very subtle, like a song playing in the background of your thoughts, and messages from Heaven sometimes need a little bit of work for us to reveal their true meaning.

If you are longing to connect with someone in the Spirit realm and you’d like a little help, I’d love to have you attend one of my live events. Just being in the space where souls on both sides of the veil come together might be all you need to open the door to receive your own messages from the other side – not just at the event, but every day!

10 Things You Didn’t Know about the Afterlife

10 Things You Didn’t Know about the Afterlife

If you have ever wondered what your loved one was doing in Heaven or even what Heaven is like, you have come to the right place! As a psychic medium, I have conversations daily with those in spirit and have literally given hundreds of readings. Through my conversations and visions, I have learned some incredible secrets about Heaven and the afterlife. Here are 10 things that might come as quite a shock to you…

  1.  Those in spirit literally can see EVERYTHING you do, but they don’t judge.

Yes, it’s true. Your loved ones in Heaven are with you every day. They can see everything you do, but they aren’t in Heaven saying, “OMG, what a messy house,” or, “My granddaughter is REALLY dating him!?” They respect your privacy and can tune out what they focus in on. Their goal isn’t to judge you; it is to love and support you. They want to help guide you to where you need to be and to the path you need to follow. Most of all, if you are happy, they are happy.

  1. The departed have jobs in Heaven.

There may not be Starbucks or Macy’s in Heaven, but rest assured those in spirit have divine tasks they choose to take on when they make their transition to “the other side.” Do you wonder where those “signs” come from that you see? It could be a family member in spirit or a soul who is protecting you from above.

For example, someone who has passed because of an accidental drug overdose will often watch over those in the physical world who are going through similar situations to help them reach out and find the help they need. Many times, those on the other side will help in hidden ways to get that person help and to keep them from going down the wrong path. They do not want to see that person make the same mistake they did. That person in spirit may choose to appear to the person they are helping in signs, songs or even by randomly meeting a stranger who knows just what to say to help that person make the choice to go to rehab. Coincidences just do not happen.

Those in spirit will help guide that person to make the right choice, but at the end of the day, we all have free will, and it is up to us to pay attention to the signs and to choose the right path.

  1. Even family members you never met or weren’t close with are there watching over you.

Before you are even born, you start your journey on “ the other side.” This is something you don’t remember, obviously, but you met grandparents and great-grandparents even before you were born. It all goes back to the reminder that nobody ever starts or stops their journey here in life alone. Many times while giving readings, I have delivered messages from grandparents who passed long before the client was born, and there have even been times when I have read for clients who were adopted and their biological family came through whom they never knew. At the end of life, we are all reunited in Heaven, and its the biggest family reunion you could ever imagine.

  1. Sometimes couples don’t end up back together.

It’s shocking, I know! Many times I have given readings when the mom decided her 2nd husband was much more suitable for her than the first one who had passed away. It sounds shocking, but those in spirit don’t mind. Things are so much clearer once we leave this plane. It becomes clear that some souls have a stronger and divine love connection than others. The good news is that if you and your first wife decide to call it quits in Heaven, you may have an old ex flame who re-enters your life from years ago. Soul mates do reunite.

  1. The departed go through a life review. It’s like TSA, only in the spirit world.

When you leave this world and transition into Heaven, you go through what those in spirit tell me is a life review. Because Heaven is a place of peace, there is a process of letting go of the baggage. While you make your transition, you leave your physical body behind. You also leave the illness, sadness, resentment, and anger you once carried. Think about it: if everyone brought their problems to Heaven, it wouldn’t be a place of peace; it would be daily drama. That is why their message to us here on Earth is to make peace and enjoy those around us while we have the time to do so. Love deep and laugh often. If it doesn’t make you happy, it is not worth holding onto. Release it to the universe and lighten your load.

  1. Pets do make it to Heaven.

Yes, pets make it Heaven, and it’s called “The Rainbow Bridge!” Yes, it exists! Anything that comes from God goes back to God, and if you lost a pet, rest assured that they are safe and at peace on the other side watching over you. Often times, in my experience, they even come through with relatives and friends who have passed as well.

At my recent group reading in Stamford, Connecticut, I was reading a woman in the audience when all of a sudden, I saw a big fat orange cat in spirit. I asked her, “Did you lose a cat recently?” She said no! Then all of a sudden, I heard a spirit whisper to me and say, “The cat’s name is Pumpkin.” I said, “Are you sure? They are telling me the cat’s name is pumpkin.” The woman was floored. She said, “That’s my friend’s cat that just died! Why is he around me!?” The truth is that soul recognizes soul here in this world, so even your friend’s pets or pets from other family members might be watching over you. The best part of all this is that even childhood pets watch over you.

  1. Those who commit suicide do find peace in Heaven. Many times, they regret it.

I have held the hands of many families who have lost someone tragically to suicide. From what I have been told by those souls who have crossed over, Heaven is a place of peace and forgiveness. I have never spoken to anyone who passed away in this manner who has told me they were in a place besides Heaven. The most frequent message I receive from spirits to pass on to friends and family is, “I am safe and at peace and forever watching over you,” and that they are sorry for the heartache and pain they left their family and friends with here in the physical world.

Many times after a soul crosses over, they realize they didn’t have to end their life. They can see how supportive their family REALLY was and how the depression made them think the opposite. Many times they realize their suicide was not an act of depression but rather a mental illness that was causing them to feel pain. Many times during my group realigns, those who pass in this way will rush to the front to help their family heal by providing a message.

  1. Everyone speaks the same language in Heaven. There is no language barrier.

It seems that no matter how many readings I do, I am always asked the question, “Can you speak to my loved one, even if they did not speak English?” The answer is yes! Spirits have a special way of communicating with me using a unique and special universal language.

Because of this, I have been very blessed to have had the honor of having a world-wide client list. I have connected with clients in India, China and even Iceland! Many of the souls I have spoken to in spirit did not speak the same language as me, but I was still able to connect and give the reading. It is amazing that no matter what language you speak or what religious background or ethnicity you are, one thing remains the same: your loved ones are with you always, looking to connect and speak with you. When you visit a medium, you are actually opening the door to communication between you and “the other side.”

As a medium, those in spirit use different techniques and vibrations to be able to get their point across and hold a conversation with me. Many times, they will even use my entire body to communicate and to pass on messages through me. That is why when you read for someone, it is called “channeling” a loved one in spirit. When I say channel, I don’t mean a television channel. What I am referring to is a divine channel that your loved one uses for me to be able to speak and communicate thoughts, feelings and emotions. It is almost like they put me back in their body to allow me to experience what they experienced here in the physical world.

  1. Heaven looks and feels different for everyone.

Heaven is a place that is entirely created by you. Just like you can design the inside of your house differently but live in a neighborhood with people, it is the same thing in Heaven. Many times, it is a direct reflection of what that person loved here in this world. For example, if you are a mountain climber here in this world, Heaven might be a place of great heights and magnificent views for you. If you loved the ocean, your kind of Heaven may be relaxing in the middle of the water. It’s similar to virtual reality. The one thing that remains consistent is that everyone in Heaven automatically knows one another and can see one another. Oh, and there’s no time there as well.

  1. Those in Heaven never lose their personality. It lives on with them.

“Pull my finger.” If you grew up hearing your grandfather say this again and again, then it is typical they will do the same when you reunite with them in Heaven. I love when those in spirit use their personality to communicate. When they come through with jokes, wisecracks or their little quirks during a reading, family will usually yell out, “OMG, THATS THEM!” It’s true, they stay the same! During one reading, I had a man in spirit stand in front on me and pull his dentures out. When I told the family, they started crying, laughing and wincing in disgust all at once. They said, “He used to do that all the time and chase us around the house with them.” They come through in this way to remind us that death does not make us different. It is just a final gathering place for all those who were sick.

Is it a Coincidence – or a Sign from Spirit?

Is it a Coincidence – or a Sign from Spirit?

Have you ever wondered if something was a sign from Heaven or just a coincidence?

We’ve talked about some ways our loved ones can send us signs that they are with us. These messages normally come in a time of need, or during a life change or transition when you are searching for guidance around uncertain times. Those in the Spirit realm can see tomorrow more clearly than you can see yesterday, and they want to help you. Think of it like Heaven is sending you a little “Hello.” Your loved ones are telling you they support and love you. They want you to know you are on the right track.

But what happens if you’re not paying attention? What if you don’t notice the signs?

You might not recognize signs from Heaven if you aren’t ready to receive them. Your loved ones will wait until you are emotionally ready to hear from them. They don’t want to hurt you or overwhelm you. Sometimes, it can be a whole year before you realize signs are coming from your loved one who has passed. When my friend’s father died, his youngest grandson was the first one to dream of him. One by one, his family members reported seeing him in dreams. For many months, my friend’s mother wondered why she never saw her husband in a dream. She was struggling with losing him, blaming the doctors and pushing her family away, on a deep level, even being angry at her husband for abandoning her. It took time for her to release some of those feelings and accept what had happened. At last, when she was ready, he came to her in a dream. It gave her so much peace to talk to him and feel his presence. From then on, she met with him regularly in her dreams, and her grief lifted.

Sometimes, when you aren’t recognizing the signs, your loved ones will use repetition to get your attention. If you find that you keep waking up at the same time every night, or waking up at the time of their passing, do not be alarmed. This is your loved ones way of reaching you because you may have been missing the other signs they have been sending you.

Numbers are another way your loved ones use repetition to make you see that they are with you. You might notice the same numbers on the clock over and over. Every time you see the time on your car dashboard or on your phone it reads 1:11, or 4:44. Maybe you get the same number every time you place an order at a restaurant counter. Music and words can repeat also. Sometimes it is the same song every time you turn on the radio or your loved one’s name everywhere you go. Pay attention- the other side is trying to reach you.

I have another story for you that may give you the chills. A friend of mine was struggling knowing that her Mom was very sick and about to pass away. Her Mom, had struggled with so many health issues that she wasn’t even able to hold conversations during her last few months. My friend was so upset because she felt like her Mom was passing away and that she wasn’t able to find comfort. She struggled with wondering if Heaven was even real and if her Mom would be ok or even make it there. She called me and told me her concerns. After listening, I saw what to do to help her in a vision. I told her that the next time she visited her Mom to ask her to send her a special sign from Heaven. The next day she went to the nursing home and said “Mom I want you to send me a penny when you have made it safely to Heaven”. Not sure if her even Mom heard the message, she went home and her Mom passed away shortly after.

The next day, her neighbor invited her over for a glass of wine to unwind from the stressful week and to just relax. When then neighbor reached into the cupboard to get the wine glass sitting underneath was a shiny penny. At the moment my friend got the chills, but thought it must be a coincidence. She didn’t think it was her Mom she thought it was wishful thinking. A few days passed and she walked into the funeral home to say her final goodbye to her Mom. Sitting on her seat was another penny. At that point, bells started going off in her head. She couldn’t figure out how the pennies kept appearing or where they came from. She didn’t tell anyone about the conversation with her Mom.  She knew it was not a coincidence and started to believe it was real. She got home that night from the services and stepped out of her car to find yet another penny! She was an instant believer standing in the driveway yelling “OK Mom I Know It’s You ! She called me almost immediately to tell me all about it. Suddenly, the tears were gone and she was laughing. You will notice that signs sometimes keep happening and happening when they are real. Normally they happen in groups of threes.

A lot of times these repetitions might seem like coincidences, but they’re not. They are signs from Heaven. They are your loved ones using repetition as a way to get your attention and let you know they are with you. It will keep happening and even drive you a little crazy because they want you to acknowledge that you get the message and know their soul is with you.

When you acknowledge the sign, you send your loved ones a signal that they can reach you in other ways. You’ll get more signs and feel them more. You will stay connected and feel the way you do when someone moves away…you don’t have to worry about them anymore, and you know you will be together again one day. That’s what your loved ones want for you.

Anything you think is a sign from your loved one is a sign. Coincidences do not happen in my world. When you receive a sign, say thank you to your loved one in Heaven. Let them know you are ready to start receiving more signs from them, and you will.
