Leaving Behind Emotional Clutter & Negativity

Leaving Behind Emotional Clutter & Negativity

How To Clean Up The Emotional Clutter & Clear Spiritual Negativity

Do you have a closet or a drawer that just seems to collect things? Once a year or once a season (or, if you’re my friend’s mom, once a week!), it feels good to go through that drawer or closet and clean it out. You might find something you thought you’d lost, and there will probably be a lot of things you can recycle, donate or toss. There’s a feeling of lightness without all that extra clutter. Well, the same thing happens inside your head and in your soul! You accumulate emotional clutter, and every so often, it’s time to clean out your emotional closet and do a spiritual clearing-out!

Sort Out Your Feelings.

One way to start a spiritual cleanup is to pull out a good old pen and paper and start writing. Writing out things that are bothering you, things you wish were different can help you process all kinds of stuff. Maybe there’s someone you’re just not getting along with. Write about it. Write about what’s bothering you…and try to figure out why it’s bothering you. Here’s a hint. It’s sometimes not about the other person at all. Write about what you’re afraid of and the things you’re sad about.

Dive In Deep.

The same way you might divide a closet into things to keep, give away, recycle and trash, you can do the same thing spiritually. Make four columns. What are feelings, thoughts, ideas that bring you joy? Keep them. Maybe there are some things that used to be useful to you but just don’t fit your life anymore. Give those away by sharing the experiences with someone else. And then there are things that just don’t help and even hurt us. Get rid of them! The trash heap should include anything that doesn’t make you feel good about yourself, the negative self-talk, over-worrying, piles of fear. Put those in the bin and let them go!

You can also use meditation as a way to start or work through your spiritual cleanup. Meditation is a practice of quieting your mind, clearing your thoughts and becoming one with your body, mind and spirit. Take some time to reflect on a troubling issue either before or after you’ve written about it. You’ll be surprised how much more clarity you’ll get just from a bit of quiet.

Request Divine Assistance.

Spiritual cleanup is not easy. It’s a lot of work. But you don’t have to do it alone. Call on your spiritual guide to help you. Maybe even create a “Spirit Box.” It can be as fancy or as simple as you want it to be. When there’s something you know isn’t great for you, but you just can’t seem to let it go, write it down on a small piece of paper, fold up the paper and put it in the box. You might eventually try creating a ritual to let go. When you’re ready, burn the papers, bury them in the backyard while saying a positive affirmation. However you chose to handle it, releasing  those things to Spirit can help us let them go.

And when you’ve done the work, take a moment to appreciate the lightness in your spirit from a job well done!

Understanding Your Spirit Guides

Understanding Your Spirit Guides

Who are your spirit guides and what do they do?

I have great news! You are never alone. Angels and loved ones in heaven are always around you, watching over you, helping you. But that’s not all. You also have special guides assigned to you. These spirit guides are there just for you, and they can see you with absolute clarity and have only your best interest at heart.

 What is a spirit guide?

A spirit guide is a soul that has passed, maybe centuries ago, and taken on the divine job of watching over you. A spirit guide is not a family member or even a friend. Instead, they’re a “spirit volunteer” who spends decades learning about you at the deepest soul level to be able to help you during your journey here on earth.

Spirit guides are divine beings and are 100% nonjudgmental. Their mission is to watch us and guide us – but of course, we have free will, so we sometimes decide to ignore their help. They allow us to make mistakes when we decide to go against their advice and care about us so unconditionally that they keep trying to gently steer us back toward making the right choices to live our best life.

Your spirit guide is there just for you, walking silently beside you. Although you may not feel them, they are always there. Your spirit guides help you with so many things during your life. They help you to meet your soulmate, making sure you connect with that special person, pulling strings to make sure you meet at just the right time and smoothing over any obstacles that might get in the way of the relationship working out.

Your spirit guides also help you discover your life path and introduce you to the people who will help you along the way. That might be a person who comes into your life to give you a nudge into a new job or someone you meet randomly (or so you think), who ends up being your best friend. During the journey, your spirit guide helps you get through some of the difficulties that you might encounter, and some of those challenges might lead you towards even better things.

There are ways you can connect to your spirit guide. Meditation and journaling are good ways to get connected. Try to sit quietly with the thought of your spirit guide and what you need help with. For example, if you are trying to make a decision and just don’t know what to do, write the question down on a page of your journal then sit quietly for a few minutes of meditation. Don’t even try to think about the question. Just still your mind and open yourself up to receive their divine guidance. After this period of meditation, pick up your pen and journal about the question you wrote down. Let the words flow, and allow the answer to come to you as you are writing.

Even though you won’t meet your spirit guide face to face during your lifetime, you will feel their comforting presence when you need it. Always remember you are not alone and don’t be afraid to just say a silent hello or thank you to your guides every once in a while. They’re always happy to connect with you, and the more you acknowledge them, the more open you will be to receive their guidance.  And when you get that nudge that you’re supposed to do something or avoid a certain person or a certain path, listen. Your spirit guide just might be trying to help you get where you need to be.

Religion, Heaven & The Afterlife

Religion, Heaven & The Afterlife

Do Different Religions Have Different Heavens ?

Someone wrote to me on Facebook recently to ask if Heaven looks and feels different for different religions. It’s a good question.

There are various religions with their own ways of doing things and their own places to worship. Holy places on earth look and feel different, so It makes sense that people might think it would be the same in Heaven. When I ask, Spirit tells me the answer is no. There is just one Heaven because we are all one – and Heaven isn’t a place that divides us. It reunites us.

We all coexist with each other here on Earth, meeting different people with different belief systems. It’s the same in Heaven. Together, we all enter into the same Heaven and coexist there too. But here’s the interesting part. Heaven kind of looks and feels different for every individual. But the important part is the same for everyone.

Religion is our own personal way to connect and safely speak to those in Heaven.

All religions were created by God as a way of helping us stay connected to Spirit and to remind us that those we love never truly leave us. The specific religion is not really what matters most. What matters most is LOVE. What matters is how you treat people and that you are kind. Hold close to your heart all that you find and believe is holy.

I was born and raised Catholic. Now, because of what I’ve learned through my psychic work I do, I consider myself more spiritual. I have learned so much by reading about many different religions. Each is beautiful and has something to teach us, and I welcome them all. In my house and office, I have status of Buddha, Jesus, Angels and even Ganesh. They remind me that no matter what religion you are, Heaven is a real place that is open to all who believe in its existence–and even to those who don’t!

Spirit tells me that religion is created to help us all find a way to connect to Heaven and also to help us through the rough roads and challenges we face. Religion gives us hope – something to hold on to during the times when we are struggling or grieving. Religion gives us a way of finding community and connection. We celebrate joyful events and special days, and we also turn to religion for comfort in times of sadness.

When people attend religious ceremonies, like regular services, weddings, baptisms, and even funerals, there is a wonderful connection that comes from being part of that kind of community. Having connectedness with other people can also help us get closer to Spirit.

Many people feel that prayer is their way of connecting with Spirit, and people practice prayer in many different ways.

To some people, prayer comes as the words of scripture. For others, prayer is a poem, or even just a thought that they send to Heaven. There are so many different, wonderful ways to pray, to connect to Spirit. One thing I know is that Heaven accepts mail of any kind. There is no wrong way to pray.

Meditation is another way people connect to Spirit. Sometimes just sitting quietly or listening to soothing music or following a guided meditation can open our minds and hearts to a closer connection to Spirit.

No matter what religion you are or how you connect to Spirit, you can be assured that we are all loved by God and all have Angels watching over us. And ultimately, there is no separation. Heaven is a place where our differences fall away and we all reunite with those we love.

Opening Your Psychic Chakras

Opening Your Psychic Chakras

DISCOVERING YOUR SEVEN CHAKRAS

Something I really love about what I do is helping people open up their own psychic abilities. That might seem strange…like a famous burger place giving away the recipe to its secret sauce or something. But to me, my job is not about being the only psychic in the room. I want to help people learn how to get connected on their own, so they can get in touch with their spiritual guides all by themselves!

Did you know that you can become more sensitive to psychic connections and to communications from your loved ones in Heaven?

In eastern philosophy, they talk about seven energy centers, or chakras. Each one focuses a different system in the body, mind and spirit. One of the chakras is located around the middle of the four head. This one is known as the center of our psychic and spiritual connectedness. Sometimes this spiritual center is called the “Third Eye.” If you take some time with it, you can open up your psychic chakra to become more sensitive and fine tune your psychic abilities.

EMBRACE YOUR PSYCHIC ABILITIES

The first step is to be open to getting in touch with your own psychic abilities. My friend’s mom has prophetic dreams. I know she could be a great psychic, but the problem is her ability scares her, so she shuts down. Instead of writing down her dreams and making an effort to remember all of them, she only pays attention to the scary ones that foretell disasters. So she thinks that she only sees bad things. I don’t think that’s true. I’ve heard some of her dreams. Even the ones she thinks are “bad” include very powerful positive elements.

In one of her dreams, she saw a young man she knew walking in a snowstorm. The storm was very bad, and there were white flakes everywhere. When she woke up, she had a feeling in her stomach that she had just had a premonition. She knew there had been more to the dream than just a winter wonderland. But the feeling scared her, and she didn’t know what the dream could mean. She didn’t want to tell anyone.

The next day, she learned that the man had been in a fire. He was alright. The “snow” in her dream were the ashes falling around him as he escaped the building. The dream had been prophetic. Yes, there was a bad situation, but the dream was also positive. But my friend still tries to push away these abilities.

If you have premonitions, prophetic visions, dreams, or other experiences that seem psychic to you, don’t let them scare you. Sometimes those dreams and visions are meant to warn you or help you or comfort you. In my friend’s case, there were people wondering if that young man had survived the fire. They had waited hours to hear from him because he had no way of contacting them. Maybe my friend’s dream was a way to give them comfort.

BE STILL AND BREATHE

Once you are open to your abilities, meditation can help you connect to your psychic center. Getting quiet and still and focusing on breathing is a way of letting go of the noise in our heads that sometimes can get in the way of hearing the quiet messages we might not know we are receiving. In meditation, sit or lie comfortably and focus on the area of your Third Eye, your psychic chakra. Imagine that space energetically opening up to receive messages, images and ideas. Imagine being filled with light and with the joy of receiving spiritual connections. It might help to put your hand on the spot, to help you focus  your energy there. Stay still and breathe.

Opening up your psychic chakra doesn’t take hard work. In fact, it’s just the opposite. The more you relax and let the energy flow, the more your chakra will open and enable you to get better in touch with your psychic abilities!

I hope to meet you at an upcoming group reading. My team & I have been working hard to add new cities states and locations each week. If there is one thing I can leave you with its that each event is so much more that just a show. It is literally a family reunion with Heaven. I hope you will take a look at my upcoming tour schedule by clicking here. Each is a two hour experience where I will be delivering as many messages as possible. There might just be a message waiting for you!
