Luck. It’s the theme of St. Patrick’s Day, Feng Shui, and of course Frank Sinatra’s “Luck Be A Lady,”. We have all heard of it and most of all we can’t help wanting to feel lucky. Just the word makes you feel hopeful, doesn’t it?

Although you may not think about it much, luck is trusted upon every day by people from all over the world. So many people are seeking a big break or a lucky hand, and it can seem discouraging when others seemingly receive all the luck we desire—they win big at casinos, land rewarding deals, have perfect lives, and attract all the best things.

The truth is that there is a secret. Just like your ability to bring comfort, love, and happiness into your life, you too can create your own luck. Being able to control over how “lucky” you are begins with having confidence in yourself, a strong mindset, and clear goals.

Think of yourself as a big magnet. What do you want to attract into your life? Makes you think a moment, doesn’t it?

All luck begins with positivity—the more positive you are, the more of life’s fortunes will willingly fall into your lap. Do you ever notice that you feel a strong draw to people that make you happy? Positivity is infectious; it wraps others in warmth, which is the reason why people like Ellen DeGeneres are teeming with fans and followers. The more that you channel your positivity and let it flow, the more people want to be around you, engaging an attraction of similarly positive people.

Positivity starts a domino effect, like watching Ellen on TV. You become immersed in the uplifting nature of the show, you tell a friend, they begin to watch, and the next thing you know, all of America is watching.

We’re constantly attracted to positive and happy people. You can’t help not to be; it’s a soul connection felt when we meet someone and genuinely like them. You have the ability to be a shining light for others, and for yourself.

Here’s how…

Think of things you REALLY want in life. Not just small things, I mean everything that you want in the next 5 years. The type of life you desire, your perfect job, how much money you want to make, etc. Even if your dreams seem too distant, let your mind travel there. Sometimes, you need to shut off your inner fears and restrictions and think bigger than what you feel your limits are.

When you brainstorm something you’re bringing it to life, so create an all-encompassing vision board. Everything begins as an idea before manifested into reality, and with a vision board, you begin to conceive what you truly want, feeling what it would be like to live that life and own those things. Although it may seem as though you’re simply pasting photographs and words to a board, you’re actually training your mind, body, and soul to gauge how to navigate bringing those aspirations into your life.

Do you notice that lucky people tend to radiate warmth and kindness? This is because they do not let their mind wander to negative places. Positive, lucky people tend to find and see positive outcomes while others fixate on obstacles. Select three positive affirmations and repeat them silently to yourself throughout the week—by training your mind to be more positive, you too will see how you can achieve what you want and how you have the ability to make luck enter your life.

Surround yourself with positive people. Energy radiates off groups, and the more positivity you keep around you, the luckier you will become. When you come together with like-minded, positive energy, you are creating a bounce of optimism that lifts everyone up.

Expect good outcomes, but always remember to stay humble. There’s nothing wrong with wanting happiness and luck to enter your life—as long as your intentions are pure and you’re wanting it for the right reasons. When luck begins to come, share it with others—nobody ever became poor by sharing. Keep a grateful heart and constantly remind yourself how blessed you are. Gratitude is the best attitude.

The next time you’re at the casino or feeling like you need a serving of luck, ask luck to enter your life. Tell yourself, “today I am going to win.” Think of what you may do with what you’re provided and how you’ll better the lives of yourself and others with it. Let luck take care of the rest!

7 Steps to Manifesting Happiness, Success & Positivity


Have you wanted to change something in your life but have been struggling with making it happen? I know a secret that can help you. Whether you have been wanting to lose weight, make more money, buy a new house, or live a happier life this one secret can help you do just that. This secret will give you anything you want from happiness & health to wealth. You might be wondering what this secret it and how much it will cost you. The “secret” is the power of manifesting and the beauty is that it is free. It is an inner ability that you have access to called “The Law Of Attraction”.

Imagine you need to fill up some balloons with air, you have the deflated rubber in your hand. You start blowing up and giving shape to the balloon. You can come up with different shapes and sizes of balloons and even twist the inflated balloons to get new shapes. The thing that is common to all is the air you filled in them and all the air came from you. Similarly our happiness in life flows from you into the things we do. It is because the source of happiness is within YOU.

Have you seen an infant smiling at you with all the happiness in the world? He/She has no concept of romance, money, goals, but he is brimming with joy. That source of love is always there in all of us but as we grow up we lose the sense of it and start searching frantically, looking for scraps of fulfilment in things and feeling unfulfilled when you can’t find joy. It’s like a fish in the ocean searching for a glass of water.

How do we get to the point of realising the inner power you might ask? Well, if a window pane is covered with a lot of dust, how do you expect to see the light that is on the other side of the window? The window pane is our mind and our repetitive thoughts and emotions make up the dust cover. The way to clean off our mind are as below.

  1. Seeing is transforming: Look at your noisy mind non-judgementally and your mind will quieten. In our window pane analogy, seeing that the window pane is dirty and blocking the light, you will know that you need to start cleaning.
  2. Meditate: Cleaning the window with a clearing agentJ. Meditation will get you to feel centred and to focus your mind.
  1. Reading: You get to know the experience of people who have cleaned their minds before.

You may be wondering that you are here to learn about ways to manifest success, and why you are reading about cleaning windows panes. Haha. The inner determines the outer, so getting the inner right is the most important aspect to living or else it will just be one dysfunctional result after another. Having a clear mind is the pre-requisite for effective manifestation.

Here is the list of steps for effectively manifestation

Step 1: Setting the goal

Write down what you want to achieve. If you are not clear, start writing down all the thoughts that come to your mind. It is like getting all the extraneous material out, and then you will be able to get a clear picture. Chose a goal, that you enjoy working towards, not something to prove a point to someone or to the world in general.

Step 2: The Feeling

Being as if you have already achieved your goal. As we have seen in the analogy of the balloon, you happiness and success flows from you. If you think that your goal will make you happy and successful, you are mistaken. Be the contentment and things flow to you. The way you be in the flow is to realise the happiness by the above mentioned three methods.

Step 3: Do the Job

Ain’t nobody coming to do it for ya! Manifesting is not about just sitting and dreaming, you need to get things done. The main aspect being enjoyment, things are in flow when your thoughts are in flow and you are at ease.

Step 4: Attitude

Obstacles will show up, how you respond to those obstacles matters more. Being calm will enable you to do the right action. Learn to handle stress better by meditating. Also, it helps to remember that obstacles only make you stronger. They are put in your life for you to overcome.

Step 5: Allow yourself to make mistakes

Please don’t be hard on yourself if you don’t get something right on the first try. Everyone needs practice. Don’t let your mistakes impede your flow. Fearful of making mistakes will increase the possibility of procrastination. Also, sometimes things do not work out because Heaven has something bigger planned. It is called divine timing.

Step 6: Moving out of comfort zone

Fear is what stops you, be aware of that fear, and dissolve it. Get off your bottom and take a step towards you goal. Challenge yourself every day to take a small step towards a task you are afraid of doing. When you are comfortable in your mind, outer discomfort wouldn’t matter.

Step 7: Beware of attachments

Attachment is an assumption that you will be happy ONLY when something happens. As we have seen our happiness is within us, so if you get attached to an outcome, you will waste a lot of energy worrying about the outcome. Stay free, fly high.

We have covered the points, but I will come back to the basic principle that you need to feel the abundance in you for it to flow out. You do that by realising the source within you, by meditating. Happiness, Success and Positivity are all like synonyms when you see the source for what it is.

We all have the power to create happiness within our lives. Here are a few ways to help us achieve and create happiness in our own lives and also in the lives of others.

  1. Accept yourself for who you are.

You are an amazing and unique person who is one of a kind! Accept the fact that you are perfect just the way that you are. When you accept yourself, you also begin to accept those around you. This allows you to let down your walls and embrace your life regardless of any flaws or imperfections you may think that you have. You have to remember that being kinder to yourself not only relieves stress and tension, but it also allows you to look at life through a whole new perspective. Take some time to have a “me day.” Pamper yourself or just go for a walk and get back in touch with your inner self. It may just be the best thing you do.

  1. Try to always stay positive.

We all have those days when it feels like things are going in the wrong direction. You have to remember that you have all the tools you need to find the positive outcome in every situation. As the saying goes, “Life goes on.” It is important to remember that the struggles you may face today are life lessons that are helping shape the way for a beautiful, new future to come. Learn from each obstacle and jump over them to create the perfect future.

  1. Practice random acts of kindness.

What if I told you that you can change your whole day around by just being kind to others? Simple things like smiling, holding doors open for others, complimenting a stranger or helping someone in need can help you to make the most out of your day. One good deed starts a chain reaction that encourages others around you to also be kind to others. I personally believe that the more positive, kind and helpful you are towards others, the more you attract that same energy and like-minded people into your life.

  1. Let go of grudges and act on forgiveness.

When you forgive someone in your heart, you let go of so much anger, stress and hurt. Simply forgiving someone in your head and heart allows you to move out of the past and into the future. It is like a coat of heavy armor finally being removed and allowing you to feel at peace with the past.

  1. No regrets, just love.

Live life with no regrets from your past. Every choice you have made has shaped the life that you are living today. Any opportunity that was meant for you in the past will always come back around if it was meant to be. Focus on the future, creating new opportunity, setting goals and moving toward things that will make you happy.

  1. Avoid negative talk about yourself and others.

Why waste your day talking negatively about people or situations when all that it will do is upset you? Start switching to conversations that will bring you joy and make you feel good. Focusing more on topics that will make you laugh or bring you down memory lane is a perfect way to help create happiness in your day. Complimenting others is also another great way because it lets the person you are talking to feel more comfortable around you and let their guard down.

  1. Be thankful every day.

Gratitude is SO important to everyday happiness. Sometimes, it is so easy to get lost in all the things that we think we need or want that we forget all the beautiful blessings that are in our lives every day. As Oprah Winfrey once said, “The single greatest thing you can do to change your life today would be to start being grateful for what you have right now. And the more grateful you are, the more you get.”

The first step is knowing in your heart that it’s not a permanent goodbye, but rather “I will see you later.” Keep in mind that one day, you will be reunited again, but for now, it’s important to start rediscovering yourself and all of the beautiful things in life that are here for you to celebrate and enjoy.

One of the best things that you can do for yourself after a death is to set clear goals for your future. By setting goals, you start to pull away from the overwhelming situation at hand in the past and bring yourself forward into the future by creating positive experiences for you to set forth and enjoy. Setting future goals not only allows you think about the future that you want, but also helps you to feel like you have more control over your life and will empower you to create positive change and life experiences.

It is important for you to pull together a support system for yourself with friends, family and those you love that will help you to laugh and feel more positive and uplifted. This is the perfect time to reach out to old friends and family who you have lost touch with over the busy years to catch up and get reacquainted with one another.

Another positive way to help with grief is to pay it forward in honor of the person you lost. Turn an overwhelming situation into a positive one by doing good deeds in memory of the person who you were closest to. Opening doors for strangers, volunteering in the community or practicing random acts of kindness will help that person’s legacy of love live on by starting a chain reaction and inspiring others to love and embrace life.
