Have you ever wondered what signs your loved ones in spirit are sending you from Heaven? First of all, I’m convinced that if your gut tells you something is a sign, it most likely is! You know a sign is real when it repeats itself and appears in different forms within your life, and when it triggers a memory of someone who’s passed.
Here are some common ways souls in heaven reach out to you:
Unexpected smells
Sometimes your loved ones will send you a fragrance out of the blue to let you know they are close. It might be a specific cologne your loved one wore, the smell of smoke if they were a smoker, or even the smell of their favorite flower.
Coins from Heaven
A loved one in spirit might put coins in your path to send a message. When you see a random coin or penny pick it up and check the date. You may be surprised that the date will be a meaningful number such as a birthday, anniversary, or date that was significant to you both.
Music from the Afterlife
Musical signs often appear during special times in your life like birthdays or anniversaries, and they can also comfort you when you need it most. You might randomly hear a song they used to sing to you or a song that they loved when they were here. When you hear a tune that brings a lost loved one to mind, know that it was divinely played for you to enjoy.
Orbs in Photos
Those in spirit are energy, and sometimes they will appear as orbs or other unexplained figures in photographs and videos. These signs often appear in group photos where many of the soul’s loved ones are gathered together.
Night Signs
Your loved one will often repeat a sign to get your attention. Waking you up at the same time every night is a common example. If you find that you keep waking up at the same time every night or wak- ing up at the time of their passing, take a minute to acknowledge the sign and say hi.
Dream Visitations
Dreams are the easiest way for your loved ones to reach out. When you lay your head down to sleep, your mind enters into an energy space that your loved ones can use as a conference room to come and visit. They can pass you a message during that time or just show you they are happy and pain-free.
Seeing 11:11 repeatedly
Times such as 11:11 or 12:12 are messages that normally come in a time of need or during a life change or transition when you are searching for guidance around uncertain times. If this happens to you, know that your loved one is sending you a little hello to let you know they support and love you, and you are on the right track.
Lights Flickering or Random Electrical Signs
Your loved ones are a form of energy, and sometimes their presence will make the lights flicker or turn the TV on and off. This particu- lar sign usually happens within a few weeks of a loved one’s passing away, as they are acclimating to the other side.
Dragonflies, butterflies, and rainbows
These are divine symbols that will show up when you least expect them and when you need to know that your loved one is with you. How do you know a butterfly is not just a butterfly? You can tell if it interacts with you in an unusual way, like circling your head or sit- ting on your shoulder, or if it triggers a memory of a loved one who has passed.
I could go on and on, because there are so many ways your loved ones make their presence known, but the bottom line is that a sign can be absolutely anything that is meaningful to both the sender and receiver.
