What are the Akashic Records?

Think of the Akashic Records as the universe’s giant digital hard drive or a celestial library. Every soul that has ever existed has its own “file” or “book” in this library. This record contains every thought you’ve ever had, every word you’ve spoken, every action you’ve taken, and every emotion you’ve felt across all of your lifetimes.

The word “Akasha” comes from the Sanskrit word for “sky” or “ether.” It is the energetic field that surrounds us all. While mediumship is like picking up the phone to call a specific person in Heaven, accessing the Akashic Records is like logging into the ultimate search engine for your soul.

It tells the story of your soul’s contract. Why did you choose to be born into your specific family? What lessons did you come here to learn? If you’ve ever felt a strange “deja vu” or an unexplainable pull toward a certain culture or time period, that information is written in your Records.

How is This Different from Mediumship?

I get asked this all the time: “Matt, if you can talk to the dead, can’t you just see my future or tell me who I was in a past life?”

The answer is a little complex. When I do a standard mediumship reading, my main “station” is tuned into the people you love who have crossed over. They come through with memories, validations, and messages of love to prove they are still with you.

It’s the difference between hearing “I love you” from a parent in Heaven and hearing “This is why you have a fear of public speaking based on a past life experience” from the universe.
